- Divisional Vice President, Human Resource Business Partner

Position Summary:
The Divisional VP, HR Business Partner serves as the senior HR leader for the Division, reporting to the BILH EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer with a dotted line to the Divisional President. This role is a strategic partner to operational and clinical leadership, advancing BILH’s mission to deliver extraordinary care and strengthening the Division through a unified, high-performing people strategy.
The Divisional VP HRBP drives alignment between HR initiatives and market business plans, partnering closely with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to support divisional hospitals in key talent areas including employee engagement, workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance and succession management, leadership development, communications, and change management. This role leads both directly and indirectly, coaching and mentoring HR Business Partners across the Division.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build trusted relationships with leaders, physicians, staff, and community partners; serve as a visible and strategic advisor.
- Partner with HR leadership and divisional stakeholders to execute growth strategies that strengthen BILH’s academic and community care mission.
- Support recruitment and retention of exceptional clinical and administrative leaders.
- Promote cohesion across the Division to realize the benefits of an integrated health system.
- Lead a culture of collaboration, trust, respect, and belonging aligned with BILH’s WE CARE values.
- Partner with entity presidents and HR leaders to advance human capital initiatives that drive operational and strategic outcomes.
- Collaborate with CoEs to ensure consistent implementation of HR programs across the system.
- Provide strategic leadership on organizational change, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
- Serve as a credible, solutionsoriented advisor able to navigate sensitive issues and complex stakeholder needs
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or related field required; Master’s preferred.
- Experience in an integrated health system, ideally within a competitive market.
- 5–8 years of progressive HR generalist experience and 5–8 years of leadership/supervisory experience.
- Proven ability to influence, build consensus, and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills with experience leading complex initiatives.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and consulting skills with the ability to partner at senior levels.
- Deep knowledge of HR functions, policies, and relevant employment laws.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and webbased applications.
Pay Range:
$275,000.00 USD – $330,000.00 USD
The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation may be determined based on several factors, that may include education, training, relevant experience, specialty, geography of work location, productivity, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include productivity and quality bonuses.
