Description
Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Human Resource Specialist and School Board Coordinator serves as a key member of the District Office team, supporting the Human Resource functions of the Nine Mile Falls School District and providing direct liaison support to the Superintendent and the Board of Directors. This position ensures efficient and accurate management of personnel processes, facilitates clear communication between district leadership and staff, and helps sustain the district’s commitment to fostering a positive, student-centered work environment. This position plays a vital role in promoting trust, collaboration, and operational excellence across all departments.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Public Administration or additional education or certification in human resources or a related field is preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain WSP/FBI fingerprint clearance.
- Three or more years of experience in human resources, administrative support, or a related position. School district experience is highly valued.
- Working knowledge of district policies, procedures, and employment laws, with a strong commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Skilled in managing multiple priorities, following through on deadlines, and ensuring required reports and documentation are completed in a timely manner.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team, supporting the mission and values of the Nine Mile Falls School District.
