HR Generalist
Description
The HR Generalist will provide support across various HR functions for multiple sites within the assigned region. This includes payroll, talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR compliance.
Core Responsibilities:
- Process weekly and biweekly payroll for assigned locations.
- Support the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management, addressing and resolving employee relations issues.
- Work with HR team members to ensure consistent approach throughout the organization.
- Work with management and employees on employee engagement initiatives to build positive morale and improve retention.
- Serve as front-line HR contact, assisting with matters related to employee relations, recruiting, and assists with execution of activities with corporate HR directives.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on a variety of HR matters.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Analyze trends and manages metrics in partnership with the HR team.
- Assume additional responsibilities and special projects to support HR and company objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, preferred, SPHR/PHR or SHRM-SCP/CP Certification preferred.
- Minimum of three to five years' experience in HR/Generalist capacity in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Frequent travel within assigned region; occasional travel to other U.S. locations.
- Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
- Self-direction, autonomous approach to work required, with a customer-service focus.
- Must be able to manage competing demands, accept constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Must be able to communicate with both management and non-management associates.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & Word).
