If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with people, we want to hear from you.As an HR Global Operations Associate in our Japan HR Operations team, you will provide essential administrative support across the employee lifecycle and play a key role in HR-related projects. You will work closely with HR colleagues and cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, accurate, and confidential HR services. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help us maintain high standards and exceed expectations for our employees in Japan.
Job Responsibilities
- Support onboarding, transfers, and offboarding processes for employees in Japan
- Prepare and process employment documentation, including onboarding and exit paperwork
- Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and systems in a timely and professional manner
- Provide administrative support for HR projects, including process improvements and system implementations
- Gather, analyze, and report HR data for ongoing projects and initiatives
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document project actions and outcomes
- Support communication and change management activities related to HR projects
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, tax laws, and Japanese labor laws
- Provide support for internal and external audits, meeting internal risk and control requirements
- Collaborate with HR colleagues and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless HR services
- Perform other HR administrative tasks as required
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2 years of experience in HR administration or operations
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload, manage multiple priorities in parallel, and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Experience in HR administration or operations in a multinational environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
- Experience supporting HR projects or process improvements
- Exposure to HR systems or data analysis
