Human Resources Intern - Summer 2026
As the Human Resources Intern, you will support daily HR operations, improve data accuracy, and reduce administrative workload through file organization, data entry, and system updates. You will assist with recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, communications, and basic benefits and compliance tasks. Overall, your support will increase team capacity, enhance the employee experience, and help HR deliver more efficient, high-quality service to the business.

Duration: 12 weeks (May-August)
Hours: Full-time, 32 hours/week
Pay: $20/hour
Location: Itasca
Schedule: Onsite 4 days/week, Monday - Thursday
During your time with us, you will...
- Gain a deeper and broader understanding of a global human resources function
- Support daily HR operations through file organization, data entry, record maintenance, and system updates
- Assist with recruiting and onboarding activities, including job postings, interview coordination, and onboarding materials
- Provide hands-on support for benefits and payroll-related tasks
- Support employee engagement, learning initiatives, and internal communications, including newsletters and employee engagement events
- Gain exposure to HR compliance, HR systems, and cross-functional processes to build a broader understanding of how HR supports the business
- Provide administrative and project support across the HR team as business needs arise
What You Bring to the Team
- Enrollment in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Interest in building foundational experience across HR operations, benefits, payroll, and employee programs
- Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-through skills
- Comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and HR systems (or eagerness to learn)
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners
- High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
