How you will make an impact: Crane Currency, a maker of banknotes for central banks around the world and an industry leader in micro-optics technology, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for our rapidly growing Alpharetta, Georgia site, supporting approximately 85 hourly and 45 salaried employees. You will provide a broad range of HR services including employee relations, recruitment, performance management, learning and development, organizational effectiveness, and some compensation and benefits administration. This is a hands-on role where you will partner with site and HR leadership to foster a high-performance culture and drive continuous improvement. Your expertise will help shape the employee experience and support our mission of innovation and excellence.
Serve as HR site leader of Alpharetta, reporting to the Director of HR (Nashua, NH).
Partner with site and HR leadership to promote a high-performance culture.
Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, engagement, retention, and exit.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR matters.
Coach managers on performance management and development.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Support organizational effectiveness and drive employee engagement.
Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, or equivalent.
5+ years of progressive HR generalist experience.
Proven success in onboarding and selection at all levels.
Strong employee relations and counseling experience.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with HRIS systems.
Preferred:
Microsoft Office Advanced Excel and AI/data analysis skills.
Manufacturing experience.
Analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
Up-to-date knowledge of state and federal employment law.
Sound judgment, discretion, flexibility, and integrity.
Professional Certifications (SHRM, Six Sigma, PMP, Data Analytics, AI, etc.)
