Roeslein Modular Fabrication (RMF) is a key Roeslein & Associates facility specializing in turnkey modular systems for beverage can manufacturing, renewable energy, oil & gas, and general industrial processing. We provide full fabrication services—from structural and pipe work to electrical assembly, panel building, and complete modular unit assembly—allowing systems to be built off-site and delivered ready for installation. With 100+ employees, 500,000 sq. ft. of production space, and a strong safety record, RMF combines skilled trades, advanced equipment, and a team-focused, employee-owned culture to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently and safely.
Position Summary:
The Human Resources Manager will partner closely with plant leadership to support all aspects of the employee experience. This role will oversee a comprehensive range of HR functions, including employee relations, training and development, performance management, policy implementation, recruitment and onboarding, and employment law compliance. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and solutions-focused HR professional who can assess current practices, anticipate needs, and implement strategies that support both people and business goals. This person will play a key role in fostering an engaged workplace and reinforcing Roeslein’s culture, values, and ethos across the organization. The position is based at our manufacturing facility in Red Bud, IL.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site human resources support to the Red Bud, IL facility and serve as a trusted advisor to plant leadership.
- Interpret, communicate, and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and federal/state regulations.
- Support leaders in resolving employee relations issues, conducting investigations, and recommending appropriate actions.
- Administer and maintain HR programs, policies, and procedures for all employees.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for exempt, non-exempt, intern, and temporary positions, including interviewing, reference checks, offer processing, and onboarding.
- Coordinate new hire orientations and support employee development and career pathing initiatives.
- Manage compensation and performance management programs; monitor market trends and provide guidance on evaluations and pay practices.
- Partner with managers to address performance concerns, coach employees, and promote continuous improvement.
- Develop and support communication strategies for deskless employees in collaboration with internal communications and the St. Louis HR team.
- Lead the People Engagement Team within the Continuous Improvement Program.
- Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and logs to ensure compliance with EEO and other government regulations.
- Oversee and maintain HRIS data integrity and generate reports as needed.
- Stay current with employment laws and HR best practices (FLSA, ADA, FMLA, USERRA, WC, etc.) through ongoing professional development.
- Process tuition reimbursement requests, conduct exit interviews, and assist with special HR projects.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance departmental efficiency and service delivery.
- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company safety standards and applicable regulations.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide HR support to the St. Louis, MO office and other facilities as needed.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that supports organizational goals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $92,000 – $115,000 annually

Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an HR Generalist or related role; management experience preferred.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification strongly preferred.
- Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or construction environments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
