- Salary range: $74,000 to $108,000*
*A number of factors are considered when determining a starting salary for our new team members, including length and depth of relevant work experience, skillset, and education & training. Our salary ranges are reviewed on an annual basis

We are currently seeking a Manager, Human Resources to join our People & Culture team based in one of the firm’s six offices (Halifax, Fredericton, Moncton, Saint John, Charlottetown or St. John’s).

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Manager, Human Resources to oversee the full employee lifecycle and lead the delivery of HR services across the firm. This role provides both operational leadership and strategic guidance, ensuring that people processes are efficient, consistent, and aligned with best practices.
The Manager, Human Resources oversees full-cycle recruitment, from workforce planning through to offer negotiation and employment agreement approval, while providing strategic guidance to hiring managers and supporting the recruitment activities of the HR team.
The role takes a lead position in the firm’s performance management processes, including the annual appraisal cycle and the development of performance improvement plans. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Manager provides guidance to both managers and employees on employee relations matters. In addition, this position is responsible for supporting and leading aspects of the involuntary departure process, including severance preparation and manager guidance.
The Manager, Human Resources, prepares and presents key HR reports to senior leadership, oversees compliance related to employee work eligibility and temporary permits, and supports the administration of the firm’s flexible work arrangement policy.
As a people leader, the Manager, Human Resources, develops, coaches, and supports a team of HR professionals and contributes to the development of HR policies and process improvements, bringing forward innovative solutions aligned with evolving best practices.

What You Bring:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field.
- CPHR designation is considered an asset.
- 5 years of progressive HR experience.
- Minimum 2 years people management experience.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and employment legislation.
- Exceptional communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
