This is a full-time position responsible for the recruitment, development, and retention of employees in the region. Duties include providing advice to the KRLS Director on relevant HR matters in the areas of job descriptions, HR policies, and organizational charts; and on coordinating hiring processes including recordkeeping and onboarding activities to ensure appropriate and accurate records are maintained.
Administers KRLS hiring processes involved in the recruitment, onboarding, training, evaluation, and record maintenance and retention. Coordinates the administration of Workers Compensation program, FMLA processes, insurance benefits for union and non-union workforce. Implements, processes, and generates KRLS payroll, processes, and activities. Develops and conducts new employee orientation programs communicating KRLSs mission/vision/values, HR policies, safety issues, W4s, and other employee recordkeeping and forms. Analyzes, compiles, prepares, and submits various regional, state, or federal reports pertaining to HR activities. Provides assistance and trains branch staff in implementing regional programming and ensuring that all proper documentation is completed and maintained for regional and local ACHF programs.
Qualifications and Skills: Knowledge of relevant laws, statutes, regulations, rules, and/or guidelines pertaining to payroll, benefit administration, HR practices and procedures. Experience maintaining employee master files, records, withholdings, contributions, etc., to prepare and process payroll timely and accurately. Ability to perform work assignments requiring attention to precision, detail, and accuracy and within established deadlines. Experience providing assistance to employees and System managers concerning questions or concerns pertaining to payroll, benefits, retirement, or HR related issues. Two years of college preferred.
Full time, 32 hours per week. Wage: $21.69 per hour. Benefits include paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid holidays. Covered by Workers Compensation, Unemployment Compensation, Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA), and Social Security. Group health insurance. Probationary period is 6 months.
