The Human Resources Manager will partner with the Leadership Teams for our Omniseal Solutions and Life Sciences businesses within Garden Grove, CA, while managing & supporting all aspects of Human Resources and Employee Engagement to ensure business results while creating & maintaining a dynamic and impactful team/culture.

They will improve & strengthen the strategic alignment of the site's business objectives while leveraging the key disciplines/tools of HR: employee relations, benefits, talent acquisition, Human Resource Information Systems, compensation, training, employee development, payroll, and retention while remaining compliant with all applicable laws.

Key Accountabilities:

Drive consistent HR applications providing strategic counseling to the Leadership Team on various Human Resources topics to support moving the business forward. Responsible for employee relations, recruitment and staffing at all levels, workforce planning, benefit administration, hourly and non-exempt pay systems, Human Resource Information Systems, communications, training and development, discipline, diversity programs and community relations with the assistance from the HR Coordinator.

Guide, lead and develop existing HR team (3 HR Generalists) as well as provide guidance and support to the Sekurit HR team as needed.

Strict adherence, commitment to ongoing training to remain current with and carry out Corporate policies, comply with local, state and federal laws as it relates to Human Resource and Payroll matters. The incumbent must balance expectations of employees with company needs, mitigating risk to the company. This person must be able to identify employee relations issues and experienced in conducting thorough investigations when needed, interfacing with all affected parties as needed, including management, Business Unit HR Direct, Legal, Compliance officer.

Lead the development, dissemination and interpretation of personnel policies and their implementation at the site, providing consultation to the management team on leadership initiatives. Provide independent insight into the impact of such initiatives on personnel.

Lead the development of a training procedure for the site and establish and maintain associated training documentation. Work with management team to develop and deliver required training and employee growth programs for new and existing employees, including development and implementation of new employee orientation and training program.

Coordinate the Employee Development programs (IDP, Skill Matrices), support and coach on the Performance Appraisal process and content, with site leadership manage Merit Increase and Annual Incentive Programs. Execute Mobility programs and any Regional mandated programs. Employ WCM tools to analyze needs related to People Development and drive engagement.

Oversee the employment process including recruitment, selection, placement, development, compensation, corrective action, discipline and termination, including the use of temporary employees. Incumbent must ensure new hire orientation for employees is conducted.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, Required.

MBA (or equivalent), Preferred.

Work Experience

10+ years experience in Human Resources within Manufacturing; Required.

7+ years experience within HR Management/Leadership capacity; Required.
