Vice President of Human Resources – Community First Solutions
Deffet Group, Inc. is pleased to have been retained by Community First Solutions to conduct an executive search for a Vice President of Human Resources.
Community First Solutions (CFS) is a not-for-profit service network based out of Hamilton, Ohio serving more than 30,000 residents throughout the Southwest Ohio region. CFS operates a broad and diversified portfolio of services including seven senior living communities, a post-acute rehab facility, mental health and addiction services, a full-service retail pharmacy, clinical and non-clinical home health services, the Colonial Preschool, two wellness and recreation centers, elderly services for Butler County, and the Coach House restaurant. CFS has been actively expanding through partnerships, mergers and acquisitions to broaden its geographic footprint and deepen service coverage.
CFS is seeking a visionary and strategic Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) to lead the organization through an exciting period of regional expansion. As CFS transitions from a Cincinnati MSA-focused provider to a broader regional leader in post-acute, home and community-based healthcare services and outpatient behavioral health, this elevated VP role will be instrumental in building the human capital strategy that supports an ambitious growth trajectory, including potential multi-state operations, while maintaining CFS’s commitment to exceptional services and employee engagement.
The successful candidate for this position will have a bachelor’s degree (master’s highly preferred) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, ideally 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience with at least five years in a healthcare setting, and PHR, SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
