The Opportunity

Participate in the unlocking process and sensitivity analysis within the model governance framework

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with modeling initiatives, including those related to modeling efficiency and transformation
• Run projections of actuarial balances for Plan, reforecasts, and sensitivity analysis
• Collaborate with IT to enhance extracts, support process improvements and address data issues
• Maintain thorough and current documentation

Minimum Qualifications

• Passed several actuarial exams and may have attained Associateship in the Society of Actuaries (ASA) with foundational knowledge of U.S. life insurance statutory and GAAP accounting principles
• 3+ years of financial reporting experience preferred
• 3+ years of experience with running actuarial models
• Strong analytical skills
• Can resolve most problems independently
• ·Strong communication skills, especially when dealing with technical issues
• Excellent attention to detail
• Exhibits strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work and consistently meet deadlines
