Job Summary You will join one of our dynamic teams of Claims professionals and gain hands-on experience in P/C Claims or Workers Comp Claims.
As a casualty express or property intern, you will review and analyze policies to verify coverage, establish reserves, and settle claims for less complex losses. Other responsibilities will include contacting customers to explain coverage, settling customer claims and contributing to the high customer service results within the claims department. You will also assist various claims teams following catastrophe storms.
As a worker’s compensation intern, you will review and analyze low severity injury claims, research and verify coverage, review and document medical documents for workers’ compensation losses. Other responsibilities include monitoring file activity with a diary system, reviewing and processing written and phone inquiries, ensuring proper reserving and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Work Location The internship position is an in-office role located in our West Bend, WI office. No remote opportunities for this position are available at this time.

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, communications or insurance related field
Interpersonal skills
Effective problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
Able to comprehend and utilize various computer programs
