Texas Biomed is conducting a search for an onsite Human Resources Assistant to support human resources and learning and development. This role will be responsible for performing administrative tasks and services. Â
The Role:Â
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date files, records, documentation and databases and also perform periodic audits of HR/L&D files and records to ensure accuracy/completeness
• Answer routine questions relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, annual training requirements, etc
• Provide general support by printing, collating, scanning, filing, running errands, maintaining/ordering office supplies
• Perform data entry related to applicant processing and new hires; complete forms related to employment actionsÂ
• Schedule interviews, meetings, clinic visits; manage various calendars
• Assist Vice President, Human Resources with clerical support as needed
• Coordinate internal support resources (Facilities/IT) and assist with planning and execution of special events and ceremonies such as New Employee Orientation, Institute-wide and departmental meetings, learning sessions, employee recognition events, wellness events, benefits enrollment, etc
• Create branded communications, posters, flyers, newsletters, documents and materials
• Support employee engagement and culture efforts and other Institute-wide initiativesÂ
• Input and manage the purchasing requisition process; reconcile bills, prepare and submit reports
• Assist with data collection for various projects and audits
Our Ideal Candidate:Â
· 3+ years administrative support experience preferably in and HR/L&D environment
· Knowledge of general HR/L&D theories, principles, methods, practices, recordkeeping and reporting
· Proficient in Microsoft Office; Canva and Drop Box preferred
· Experience administering a Learning Management System
· High school diploma/GED
